Neha Dhupia has been a Femina Miss India winner and a Miss World finalist in 2002, but she had a far more modest beginning with the pageant. Believe it or not, she used to be a backstage hand before she became a model herself.
At yesterday’s Femina Miss India Awards Night 2023, Neha was one of the judges of the evening and she arrived at the red carpet wearing a stunning Gaurav Gupta creation. While speaking to ETimes, she revealed, “I was a backstage helper for models before I became a model myself. From there to now being a judge at Femina Miss India is quite special.”

Apart from judging the new Miss India contestants and awarding them on the night, Neha also launched a coffee table book, which encapsulates the journey of 59 years of Miss India pageant.

Neha’s last appearance in the film was alongside Yami Gautam in A Thursday. She will next be seen in Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri’s romcom directed by Anand Tiwari.
